Diabetes Community App
A peer-support social network for people living with diabetes, live on Google Play.
Role: React Native Developer
A social app for people living with diabetes in the US and Canada, owned by a US product company. Members share what they're eating, how they manage their day, and the research they come across, so peers can learn from each other's real experience.
I built React Native screens and features through the MVP and its next iteration, from feature development through QA and Play Store release.
What I built
- Built the feed where members post about meals, daily routines, and their experience managing diabetes.
- Supported research and educational posts so the community could share and discuss credible information.
- Shipped likes and comments to drive peer support and engagement.
- Translated Figma designs into responsive, pixel-faithful components for iOS and Android.
- Fixed bugs found in QA and shipped releases to the Play Store.
